CtS Movie Review: Across the Universe

y'all i'm watching Across the Universe right now and it is SO BAD. i mean, i'd heard it was bad, but i wasn't expecting this. and you all know i don't quit on movies just because they stink. so i decided to swallow this in little bites. since the movie is basically a cornytown, usa reenactment of one beatles song after the other, i decided to watch a song, take a break, then watch through the next song, and continue in this manner. i don't know if you guys know this, but there are a lot of Beatles songs. and i'm only about 45 minutes in (of 2:13). this flick is definitely headed towards the dreaded 1 star rating on netflix.

What else has scraped the bottom of your netflix ratings?? i was surprised that what i had banished to the 1-star pits of despair:
-Art School Confidential
-Secret Lives of Altar Boys
-Butterfly Effect
-Da Vinci Code
-Elizabethtown
-Hide and Seek
-Dukes of Hazard
-League of Extrodinary Gentlemen

I don't remember rating different seasons of Friends, but...

-Friends (Seasons 2,7,8,9)
-The Nutty Professor (1996)
-Elizabethtown
-Onegin
-Stepmom
-Crossroads
-Les Uns et Les Autres
-Kindergarten Cop (probably not a fair rating, given right after the California recall election)

So, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Elizabethtown get repeat votes. I should probably rate Catwoman and Crossroads -- those are both worthy one-star'ers.

But Kindergarten Cop??? Way harsh!

yeah, i must not have rated crossroads yet. (no we neva have all seen it.) also, i think i gave elizabethtown two stars, but i remember it being particularly terrible...i probably gave it the extra star because i luvz orlando. but, i mean, that star really should've been taken away because of kirsten dunst.

After reading this post I did a little googling to find some of the worst movies of all time and added them to my Netflix. I'm really excited about a Carrot Top/Raquel Welch feature called "Chairman of the Board."
